  • High performance window with weatherstripping
  • Flush fitting sash
  • Supplied unglazed or glazed
  • Integral head trickle vents – externally concealed with a head drip
  • Glazing bar options using cassette glazing include;
    • Cottage bars (horizontal)
    • Georgian bars (horizontal and vertical)
    • Curved bars

Variety of Baymead Window timber options -

  • Variety of softwoods including Douglas Fir
  • Hardwoods – choose from Sapele, Iroko, Mahogany, Idigbo, and European Oak
  • Other timbers may be available on request

Our Baymead Window timbers come from sustainable sources and most are FSC certified from managed forests and renewable sources. Timber has a very low or zero carbon footprint and is an environmentally friendly material using considerably less energy to manufacture into joinery than plastic or metal alternatives.

Baymead Window Finishing options -

  • Hardwoods are naturally decay resistant. Softwoods can be preservative treated as required.
  • Windows and doors are available either primed, primed and undercoated or factory finished in paint, stain or natural oil
  • Windows can be supplied unglazed or factory glazed with a standard 24mm double glazed unit (4mm glass/16mm air gap/4mm glass).
