Design Service

Our design facilities are a part of our overall service and are provided to give you the opportunity to examine all the options. We want to help you be aware of all the practical options open to you and how these would fit into your overall building design.

Frequently customers come asking us to design their joinery after talking first to their architect to have their building project plans drawn up. Often they want more detail and advice on styles, materials, aesthetics and other considerations. We believe, as custom-made joinery specialists, that we may well be better equipped to discuss specific joinery design by drawing on our extensive experience gained from  having worked in similar circumstances many times before.

Depending on the circumstances we may initially provide you with outline sketches before preparing detailed dimensioned drawings at a second visit. In some cases it will be possible to go straight to detailed drawings. Our design support is intended to be infinitely flexible to suit individual circumstances.

Our design service includes budget estimates for particular solutions. We can also indicate how costs could be varied according to the type of timber used and how varying the overall design may affect your overall project budget.

Regular contact is maintained during the manufacturing of your order to ensure you are kept fully informed of progress. In this way we endeavour to help you project manage your self-build or build project with your sub-contractors as cost efficiently as possible.
